Since 15 April 2023, eight hundred sixty-four (864) Filipinos have left Sudan; majority of whom received assistance and arrived in the Philippines through Egypt (via Aswan and Cairo) or through Saudi Arabia (from Port Sudan to Jeddah/Riyadh) through arrangements by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Philippine Embassy in Cairo continues to urge Filipinos who are still in Sudan to leave the country immediately. Repatriation flights from Port Sudan to Cairo & Manila can be arranged to those who wish to leave the country. They must get in touch with the Embassy immediately, and do the following:

2. Advise if in possession of a valid passport or not.
3. Arrange your transportation to and temporary accommodation in Port
Sudan.
