On 08 June 2023, Amb. Ezzedin H. Tago meets with Dr. Ramy El-Nazer, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) and conveyed to the latter the appreciation of the Philippine Government for the various assistance extended by the ERC to the more than 550 Filipinos who evacuated Sudan and entered Egypt via the Ashkeet and Argeen borders.
Amb. Tago praised the الهلال الأحمر المصري - Egyptian Red Crescent for its early presence at the border and its work in helping thousands of people affected by the Sudan conflict. - END
