On 27 February 2024, Amb. Ezzedin H. Tago met Amb. Hesham Fathy Mohamed Mostafa, Director of the Israel Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Amb. Hesham Fathy shared Egypt's continuing efforts to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip, provided updates on the situation in Palestine, and other initiatives to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. Amb. Tago expressed appreciation for Egypt’s efforts and expressed hope that these efforts will bear fruit. END.
