21 October 2024- Upon the invitation of Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Amb. Ezzedin H. Tago joined ambassadors and other officials representing diplomatic missions based in Cairo, Egypt from Asia, Australia and New Zealand for a meeting.
During the meeting, FM Abdelatty highlighted the economic ties between Asian countries and Egypt. He also underscored investment opportunities in Egypt as well as efforts to improve the investment climate in the country. Also in attendance in the meeting was Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Egypt’s candidate for the position of UNESCO Director General.
The Embassy continues to work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to improve bilateral and economic relations between the Philippines and Egypt. This includes expressing support for Dr. Khaled El-Enany and Egypt on its candidature as UNESCO Director General. END.
