AMB TAGO MEETS PROFESSOR NAHLA AL-SAEEDY, PRESIDENT OF THE CENTER OF EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FOR ENVOYS AND FOREIGN STUDENTS OF AL-AZHAR AL-SHARIF

22 July 2024 - Ambassador Tago met with Professor Nahla Al-Saeedy, President of the Center of Education Development for Envoys and Foreign Students of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, to discuss matters involving Filipino students and ways of enhancing cooperation in relevant fields.

Prof. Al-Saeedy briefed Amb. Tago on the roles and programs of Al-Azhar and the process of admission in the university, including new rules for equivalency or evaluation of the qualifications and eligibility of applicants.

Currently, there are 296 Filipino students studying in Al-Azhar university. END
