ASEAN AMBASSADORS PROMOTE ASEAN AT THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY IN CAIRO

On 19 March 2023, the Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Mr. Ezzedin Tago joined his colleagues from the ASEAN Committee in Cairo in a session on ASEAN at the American University in Cairo with students from the Global Affairs and Public Policy School.

The ACC engaged the students to raise awareness on ASEAN, its achievements for the past 55 years, and the various pillars of the ASEAN community.

There are nine (9) ASEAN nations represented in Egypt, all except for Laos.

The ACC meets regularly and organizes engagements to raise awareness of ASEAN in general.
