GENDER STATISTICS OF FILIPINOS IN EGYPT

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 Number of registered Filipinos as of 28 February 2023

The Philippine Embassy recorded 2002 Filipinos in Egypt.

85% or 1,696 are females

15% or 306 are males

About 50% are employed in the informal sector and performing skilled work.

Some 10% are students at local schools such as the Al-Azhar University.

Others are staying in Egypt with their Egyptian spouse and children.

Data used is from the results of the responses to the online registration conducted by the Embassy from November 2022 to 28 February 2023.
