On 07 May 2023, thirteen Filipinos who evacuated Sudan left Egypt and headed home to the Philippines

Another 10 are scheduled to board today.

Since 01 May 2023, a total of 370 Filipinos have departed Egypt.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine Embassy in Cairo are currently arranging return flights of the remaining 130 Filipinos still in Egypt.

The DMW is arranging tickets for 47 OFs still in Cairo. END.
