PH EMBASSY IN CAIRO HOSTS THE OATH TAKING CEREMONY OF NEWLY ELECTED PHILSAC OFFICERS

31 January 2025 - The Philippine Embassy in Cairo hosted the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Philippine Students’ Association in Cairo (PhilSAC) for 2025-2026 at the Embassy chancery.


Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago administered the oath of office of the incoming PhilSAC officers headed by its President, Mr. Prince Jayford Narsico.


The other officers are:

o Vice President – Anuar T. Calulong

o Arabic Secretary – Mr. Abdulmohaimen D. Campong

o English Secretary – Mr. Mooflee Abdulajid Jalal

o Treasurer – Mr. Nassar Salsal Aguam

o Auditor – Mr. Salahudin B. Kamidon

o Cultural Affairs – Mr Ishack A. Marohom

o Da’awah – Mr. Salamoden D. Marohomsalic

o Social Affairs – Mr. Wazeer Umbuk

o Art – Mr. Ash-habe M. Mangoda

o Sports – Mr. Ibrahim K. Abdulmandangan

o Club Supervisor – Mr. Mohamed Mama Hasim

o Information – Mr. Benhar J. Pandi


In his message, Amb. Tago congratulated the new officers and encouraged them to lead by example and uphold the Constitution and By-Laws of PhilSAC.


During the ceremony, Mr. Yasser Gampong, outgoing PhilSAC President, also formally turned over the leadership of the association to Mr. Narsico.


Student leaders from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei and Myanmar also attended the event.


At present, there are around 400 Filipino student members of PhilSAC who are studying in Egypt. END
