On 05 July 2024, the Philippine Embassy in Cairo participated in the ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC) Bowling Tournament 2024 at the International Bowling Center in Nasr City.
Fifteen (15) teams from the nine ASEAN Missions in Cairo competed in the friendly match. The Philippine Embassy had two (2) teams led by its officers Ms. Crystal Ann S. Dunuan and Mr. Bryan B. Fernandez.
After three games, the Embassy of Malaysia received the Highest Team Score Award. The Embassy of Indonesia received the Second Highest Team Score Award while a second team from the Embassy of Malaysia got the Third Highest Team Score Award.
The bowling tournament aims to promote ASEAN awareness, and to foster a sense of ASEAN community and solidarity among the its peoples. END.
