On 08 March 2023, the Philippine Embassy in Cairo joined the nation in celebrating women's month by wearing purple.
The theme for Women's Month 2023-2028 is "WE for gender equality and inclusive society" with the hashtag #WEcanbeEquALL
For all the Wednesdays in March, the Philippine Embassy will be providing walk-in consular services. Clients are encouraged to wear purple.
In March, the Philippine Embassy also launched its Gender and Development (GAD) Corner in its website. The GAD corner provides for relevant Philippine laws, Egyptian resources, Assistance to Nationals information, and emergency hotlines as well as gender statistics of Filipinos in Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea.
