On 31 July 2023, twenty-two (22) Filipino evacuees from Port Sudan arrived in Riyadh, and were assisted by officials and staff of the Philippine Embassy in Saudi Arabia .
The Philippine Embassy in Egypt continues to advice to all Filipinos who are still in Sudan to leave the country immediately to ensure their safety.
